Mr. Lamar Wallace, 52, of 1113 Mary St., entered into rest on Friday, October 26, 1984, at his home. He was born in Beaumont, Texas, the son of Lacy and Lillian Nesbitt Wallace. He was educated in Austin and came to the Utica area in 1958. In 1959, he married the former Elaine Fusaro. The couple lived in Arizona for 10 years, before returning to the Utica area. Mr. Wallace worked for P.A.R. Technology as the Director of Order Systems. He was communicant of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a member of the M.V.C.C. Concert Band, the Toy Train Collector's Society, T.T.O.S. and T.T.C.S. He served for our country during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine; his mother, Mrs. Lillian Wallace of Austin, TX; one daughter, Mrs. August William (Lisa) Nothnagel, Utica; four sons, Mr. Lamar Wallace, Jr, of Houston, TX, Kevin, Christopher, Timothy Wallace all at home; one sister, Mrs. Elaine Laymon of Austin, TX; one brother, Milton Wallace, Dallas, TX; one granddaughter, Roslyn Wallace of Houston, TX. The funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at The Matt Funeral Home with the Rev. James Wood officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
