Born Cheraw, SC, graduate of Clemson U.; Commissioned Officer in the US Army. Saw active duty in Europe during WWI, 27 Nov 1917 to 11 Jan 1919. Awarded 3 Purple Hearts. Military service: 22 Dec 1913 to 29 Aug 1929. US Army Service No. 0-163538. LT.

Uniforms, military records, metals, etc, and letters send during the War from the battlefield and while hospitalized in England were donated to the U.S. Army Heritage Center Museum, Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 2010.

Preceded in death by parents, Lemuel Drake Harrall and Charlotte Harrington Harrall. Survived by wife, Eleanor Frank Harrall; 4 nephews and 1 niece. Mr. Harrall was retired from the Ohio Bell Telephone Co., Member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. A graduate of Clemson University, Class of 1916. Former member of the University Club. Also Columbus Country Club, Veteran of World War 1. Private internment Silver Brook Cemetery, Anderson, S.C. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made if you wish to your favorite charity. Arrangements by Schoedinger State Street Chapel.
