Joseph Sawyer was my 7th Great Grandfather. His first wife was Sarah T. Beaman, born 25 Jan. 1681, died 7 March 1718. She was the daughter of John and Priscilla (Thornton) Beaman, and grandaughter of Gamaliel Beaman. Joseph built Sawyer's Mill in 1721, and was also a Blacksmith. I descend from Their 3rd child, Thomas Sawyer, born 1710, as you see below.
