KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- David Dean Conn was born March 25, 1947, in Osborne, Kan., the eldest of Dean and Ida (Schreiber) Conn. He grew up in Osborne. In 1965, he graduated from Osborne High School. He was a graduate of Wichita State University, where he majored in music history. In 1972, he moved to Kansas City, Mo., where he became associated with the Music Exchange and became an expert in recorded classical music. He died Nov. 24, 2010, in Kansas City, Mo., after a long illness. Preceded in death by: mother; and brother, Danny. Survivors: father and many relatives and friends. Following cremation, memorial service will be in Kansas City, Mo. Burial: Osborne at a later date.
