Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby "Cricket" Langston, 81, of Jefferson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at the Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church of Jefferson with the Rev. Kevin Smith, Rev. Timothy Williams & Rev. Jeff Jones officiating. Interment will follow services at Oakwood Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home of Jefferson. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Langston was born June 29, 1929 in Selma, Alabama., to Cad & Lillie Belle Townsend Cromer. She passed away November 23, 2010 in Longview.
Mrs. Ruby was a member of the Faith Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church. She was a C.N.A. & was a private sitter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, J.B. Quada & Glenn Langston, son, John Benny Quada & four grandchildren, Roger Box, Jr., Candy Hagood, Oscar Hagood, Jr., & Jo Nell Box.
Survivors Include: Her children; David Quada & wife Loxie of Jefferson, TX., Alice Hagood & husband Gary of Cason, TX., Geneva Nixon & husband Randy of Camden, AR., & Linda Box & husband Roger of Marshall, TX., sisters; Lucille McDaniel of Tuscaloosa, AL., Jean Alexander of Marshall, TX., & Sarah Barbo of Longview, TX., grandchildren; Shannon Johnson, David Quada, JR., Sandy Doddy, Michael Hagood, John Robertson, Sonja Pennington, Janet Hargett, 24 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren & numerous nieces, nephews & a host of friends.
