Mildred Lurene Arthur died yesterday in Columbia. She was a retired employee of the Lee Mar Shirt Factory and 85 years old.
Services will be held Thursday at 2pm in the chapel of Carr & Erwin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation will be held tomorrow from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son Bill Arthur of Ardmore and daughter Sharon Blade of Columbia. She is survived by brothers Kenneth "Pete" Jordan of Ardmore and Houston Jordan of Elkton and sister Sandra Beal of Jackson Tennessee. Four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren also survive.
