F.M. Arthur, died at Bethune Home Last Friday Funeral services were conducted Friday at the residence in Bethune for Frank Moyer Arthur, 91, who died at his home last Thursday after an extended illness. Born, March 22, 1858, at Reading, PA, an architect and builder, he had made his home in Bethune for the past 28 years. He was a member of the Bethune Masonic lodge. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. T.W. Beeson, Willow Grove, PA; Mrs. T.E. Clemens, Philadelphia, PA, and Miss Mary Arthur, of Bethune, and one son, Capt. F.D. Arthur, U.S. Navy, Houston, Texas. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Neil Truesdell, of Newberry. A brief Masonic service was held afterwards. The body was taken to Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, PA for interment. Mr. Arthur was one of the oldest citizens in Kershaw county.
