Rev. James Parker Aylworth was the son of Pvt. Abraham and Catharine (Crydenwise) Aylworth. He was the husband of Lucy (Barns) Aylworth. They were married February 8, 1803. Lucy died August 9, 1865. He had been a school teacher for 22 years. Rev. Aylworth was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: Genesee (now Western New York) Conference 1822 F 1824 To Oneida Conference at organization 1829. He served during the War of 1812.
