Dora Sorenson 1915-1991

Dora Sorenson, 75, of Gonvick, died on Tuesday, February 26, 1991, at the Dakota Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota.
Dora was born December 31, 1915, at Gonvick, Minnesota to Ole and Inga Bruhjell. She grew up in Gonvick and was a graduate of Gonvick High School. She married Ted Sorenson on July 3, 1936, at Gonvick. Mr. Sorenson died on February 17, 1970.
Sorenson was a member of the Samhold Lutheran Church, and the church circle.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Pete, Bonita, Hopperstad of Gonvick; four sons, Donnie of Baudette, Duane of Gonvick, Leslie of Fertile, and Terry of Ada; two brothers, Irvin and Adolph Burhjell, both of Duluth; 16 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters Esther, Judith, and Lois; and three brothers, Obert, Morris, and Harold.
Services were held on Friday, March 1, at the Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick with Rev. Trueman Daniels officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
