Funeral services for James Thomas Parker, 90, of Bremen will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007 at Ryan's Creek Baptist Church, Dr. Harper Shannon and the Revs. Keith Gambill, and Ron Foshee officiating, with burial in the church cemetery.

Mr. Parker died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at his residence. He was born on Dec 17, 1916, in Alabama to E.N. and Janie Calvert Parker. He was a crane operator with U.S. Steel and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 daughters, Mary Jane Mewborn and Freda Jo Cook.

Survivors include his wife, Olene Swann Parker, Bremen; two sons, Bobby Eugene Parker, Cook Springs and James Lee Parker, Bremen; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge.
