Donna was the daughter of Donald Shirey and Florence M. Pavey. She is survived by husband Richard Carman, sons, Terry Bohmont & wife Cindy of Sparta, Missouri, Mike Bohmont & LouAnn, Martell, NE; Steve Cannon & wife Nanci Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Patricia Bomar, North Platte, NE; step-daughter Kimberley Reed & spouse John of Columbia, SD, Sisters, Wilma Dutton, Phoenix, AZ, Francis Real, Giltner, NE; & Janis Hadley, Phoenix, AZ; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Donna worked at Hinky Dinky in the meat department for 20+ years. She also worked at the Ben Franklin Store for several years. She loved to do crafts, she did beautiful crocheting, and was a fantastic candy maker.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Donald Shirey, step-mother Selma Pavey Shirey, and sister Margaret Valverde.
Memorial services were held November 29, 2010 at the New Covenant Church in Lincoln, NE.
