Byesville - Mrs. Goldie Ann King, 85, formerly of Cumberland, died at 2:30 am today (Sept 9, 1980) at Cambridge Health Care Center following a long illness.
She was born Nov 27, 1894, in Noble County, a daughter of the late Samuel and Jane Dudley Girt. She was formerly a member of Coens M. E. Church and Cumberland United Methodist Church. Her husband, John G. King, died in 1954. Also deceased are a sister, a brother and a niece. She leaves several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 pm at McGaughy-Black Funeral Home, Byesville. Graveside Services will be Thursday at 10 am at Coens Cemetery in Noble County with the Rev. Paul Harris officiating.
