at Residence after illness
of Two Weeks
FLORA. Ind., — J. W. "Bill"
Clark, 60, well known local contractor
and painter, succumbed at
4 o'clock Sunday morning at the
residence following an illness of
two weeks.
The son of John and Nancy
Clark the deceased was born in
Carroll county on Oct. 24. 1878.
He was a member of the Flora
Community club.
Surviving are the widow, Margaret
Lieurance Clark; three children,
Dorothy Hammond teacher:
Robert, of Flora; and William Jr.
at home; three sisters. Mrs. Tim
McCormick. Delphi; Mrs. Pearl
Johnson, northeast of Flora and
Mrs. Drusilia Cripe. of Flora: two
half-sisters, Mrs. Date Whitter, of
near Flora: Mrs. Ross Wagoner,
of Camden.
The body is to be returned to the
residence today after preparation
for burial at the Leiter funeral
home. Burial will be made at Maple
Lawn.
At his death Mr. Clark was secretary
of the Flora Community club.
Funeral riles will be held at 2
o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the
residence with Rev. W. C. Ashen-
hort in charge. Burial will be made
in Maple Lawn cemetery.
