CLAY -- Curry "Jack" Morgan, 85, Clay, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, at Angel River Health and Rehab in Newburgh.
He was a Methodist. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a coal miner for more than 40 years and retired from Peabody Camp No. 1 in 1987.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nancy Morgan; one daughter, Beverly Goldman of Boonville, Ind.; one son, Mark Morgan of Clay; three sisters, Zemma Polley of Evansville, Shirley Lamb of Sarasota, Fla., and Betty Morgan of Washington, Pa.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Vanover Funeral Home in Clay. Brother Jeff McMain will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Springs Cemetery in Wheatcroft.
