Son of Jacob Frederick Bellinger & Elizabeth "Betsey" Ingersoll

Jacob's oldest brother, Luther Bellinger had moved to
Vicksburg Ms. in 1835. Jacob and their brother John decided join him around 1852. Leaving Norway, Herkimer Co. Ny Jacob and Nancy, with 5 children, John & Lydia, with 2 children, made their way to Vicksburg. After about 1 1/2 year, John & Lydia decided to go back to Ohio, Herkimer Co. Ny. Jacob & Nancy stayed in Vicksburg, 10 children were born of this marriage.

According to the Sexton's Report, died of Typho-malarial Fever, aged 54 years and a resident of Warren County.
