Mr. Campbell was born October 14, 1904, in Elkins, W.Va., and was a son of the late Alzie and Ida Harper Campbell.
He had lived in the Peach Grove community east of Harrisonburg before moving to Mt. Crawford over 30 years ago.
He was a masonry cleaner.
On December 1, 1930, he married the former Lena McDorman who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Archie C. Campbell of Harrisonburg and Holmes Campbell of Mt. Crawford, a step daughter, Miss. Viola McDorman, Mt. Crawford, six grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home by the Rev. Vance Murray and the Rev. O.S. Shreve. Burial will be in the Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
