Mary Minor was a 31 year old victim of the Winecoff Hotel fire in Atlanta, Georgia on December 7, 1946. She was from Thomaston, Georgia and was staying in room 1430. She was an advisor to the Youth Assembly delegation from R.E. Lee Institute. She had organized the Tri-Hi-Y chapter there in 1945 in response to student requests. She was the mother of a 4 year old daughter.
