Confederate Soldier that served as a Second Lieutenant with Company E of the 25th North Carolina Infantry. Died one day after transfer to Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD as a prisoner of war. His death was attributed to complications post lower left arm amputation and pneumonia. He was buried in the post's soldiers' grave and was subsequently reinterred at Loudon Park National Cemetery.
