Beloit - Thomas P. McCarthy, age 69, of 1954 Portland Avenue, Beloit, died on Monday, October 28, 1974, at a Beloit hospital. Born on July 15 1905 in Highland, Wis., he was married to Myrtle Mosley on Mat 11, 1946 in Antigo, Ill. McCarthy was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. He was employed by the Wilson-Shipler Co. for 10 years. Surviors include his wife; a son, Richard, Hazel Green, Wis.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Arnold Lemke, Gillette, Wis., and Mrs. Thomas Cooper, Janesville; 12 grandchildren; a brother, John, Cobb; three sisters, Mrs. Julia Moore, Dodgeville, Mrs. Delia Flynn, Madison, Mrs. Mary Pierick, Highland; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at St. Jude Catholic Church, Beloit, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Burial in Union Grove Cemetery, Darlington. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Daley-Murphy-Wish Funeral Home, Beloit, where a Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m.
