JULIA MAE BOUGH ADAMS
Julia Mae Bough Adams, 87, El Dorado Springs, the daughter of Claud and Lula Bough, was born on Nov. 13, 1913, in Greenfield. She passed away on Sunday morning, Aug. 19, 2001, at the Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs.
Julia was united in marriage to Roy Adams on Jan. 6, 1934, in St. Joseph. She was a life long resident of Cedar County.
Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; four sons-Donald Thomas, Darrell Edward, Harold Fredick and infant son, Kenneth. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Pete and Clyde Bough, and two sisters, Juanita Showman and Georgia Kauffman.
Survivors include her son, Claud Adams, and his wife, Florene, El Dorado Springs, with whom she lived for many years; daughter-in-law-Joan Adams of Texas, Carol Adams of El Dorado Springs and Jerri Adams of Kansas City; one brother, Fred Bough, and his wife, Martha, of Stockton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Joe Trussell officiating. Musical selections will be provided by Julie Williams. Interment will be in the Stockton Cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Donald Wayne Adams, Kevin Adams, Jimmy Keith, Lavern Keith, J.R. Smith and Clifford Keith.
