MARY ELIZABETH COPELAND
Mary Elizabeth Shackelford Cope-land was born in Dixon on June 27, 1907 the daughter of ^amesJI^and. Melvina Patton Davis, and passed away in the Phelps County Hospital in Rolla on November 9, 1988. She had attained the age of 81 years.
She is survived by her two daughters: Vivian and husband Raymond George and Alice and husband Eddie Randolph of St. Charles, eight grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren, three sisters: Lillian Mosher and, Marie Tyler of Rolla and Flossie Ferguson of Manchester with other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Shackelford, her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
She became a member of the Pene-costal Church in the early 20's and remained faithful to the Lord. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were held in the Long Funeral Home in Dixon on Saturday, November 12, 1988 at 2:OC p.m. with Francis Sheppard official ing. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery. Organist was Kathy Brandt anc soloist was Hazel Schierbaum whi sang "Amazing Grace" and "Take M; Hand Precious Lord." Serving as pall bearers were Dale Philipps, Charle Mace, Murle Gilbreath, John Single ton, David Hager and Ernest Shackel ford.
