Funeral services for the Rev. Robert L. Cooke, 78, of Needville, took place February 18. The Rev. Cooke died Tuesday at Autumn Hill Convalescent Center in Richmond. He served as a Baptist minister. Survivors include his wife Emma Cooke of Needville; sons Thomas W. Cooke and his wife, Gillian of Sugar Land; Ted I. Cooke and his wife Diane, of Canyon Lake; and Billy C. Cooke and his wife Bridgette, of West Germany; grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter Josephine Steed. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society
