PLAN AUGUST BRIDAL- Mr. and Mrs. Patrick George of Albany have announced the engagement of Mrs. George’s sister, Miss Sally Rosaria Brunetto of Johnstown, to John Albanese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Albanese of Tuckahoe.
Miss Brunetto, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Rosario Brunetto of Johnstown, attended Johnstown high school and was graduated from Zion Bible Institute at East Providence, RI, and Ellis Hospital School of Nursing.
She received a BS degree from Teachers College, Columbia university, in June, 1956, and a MA degree in teaching and curriculum, nursing education, this spring. She is a member of Pi Lambda Theta and Kappa Delta Pi, national honor societies.
The prospective bride has been employed by the Westchester county department of health as a public health nurse in the Mount Kisco area since July, 1955.
Mr. Albanese entered the U.S. Army Air Force in December, 1942. While in the service he attended the University of Syracuse, primary flight school in Camden, SC, and B-29 flight engineers school at Hondo, Texas
Upon graduation from the last school, he was appointed flight officer and trained B-29 flight engineers until discharged from the army in December, 1945. He then attended the Aeronautical Technical Institute in Glendale, Calif., and the Aeronautical University of Chicago, where he received a BS degree in 1949.
He has been employed as a senior weight and balance engineer at the Republic Aviation Corp. in Farmingdale, LI, since 1950.
The wedding well be held on Aug. 2 at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church Johnstown.
