Steven Dale Case was born on February 13, 1953 to Dale and Lorraine (Abler) Case in Watertown, South Dakota. After graduating from Watertown High School in 1971, Steve served his country in the U.S. Navy as a medic. After his military service, he returned to Watertown, where he worked until poor health took its toll.
He was an avid sportsman whose interests included playing pool, golfing, fishing and hunting. One of his great pleasures was playing guitar with his brothers. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and spending time with his daughter, Rachel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen Patrice Case.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Case of Florence; his six siblings, Marsha (Bob) Klein of Brookings, Al Case of Lino Lakes, MN, Dru (Sheldon) Seward, Dave (Jean) Case and Lynn (Doug) Sharp all of Watertown, and Chuck (Jennifer) Case of Tea; sixteen nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bob Brewster and family of Watertown.
