Daughter of Robert Dunkly/Dunkley and Nancy Barrow. Wife of Jesse Allen Terrell. Married February 3, 1829 Stokes County, North Carolina. Mother of Alfred Robert Terrell, William B. Terrell, Susan A. Terrell Scherer, Nancy Jane Terrell Hamilton, Mary Cassander Terrell Southern, John H. Terrell, Elizabeth A. Terrell Mitchell, James Terrell, and Julia Fanny Terrell Wilcox. After her husband's death about 1845, she migrated north with her family briefly living in Lee County, Virginia (as witnessed by an 1860 census record), and then migrated to Indiana from Stokes County, North Carolina, after 1850, with sons Alfred, John, and James Terrell, and daughters Susan, Nancy, and Julia. Her son William B. Terrell migrated from Stokes County, North Carolina to Lee County, Virginia, where after settling there with his family, he joined with CSA in the Civil War. He died of disease nine months after enlistment and is buried in Red Sulpher, West Virginia. Mary and Elizabeth stayed and married in North Carolina. Jesse Allen Terrell died in 1845 in Stokes County, North Carolina.
