Mr. Abbott was born December 13, 1938 in Chicago, Ill., to John and Gretchen (Richards) Abbott. He married Glenda Givens November 16, 1957. They were the parents of four children. Mr. Abbott died November 26, 2010 at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 12 days.
