Myrtle Worsham
Hendersonville-Myrtle Morgan "Granny" Worsham, 80, of 451 Stoney Mountain Road, died Monday in a Hendersonville hospital.
A native of Buncomber County, she had lived in Henderson County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Charlie I and Ella Welch Morgan. She was the wife of Howard Worsham Sr, who died in 1980. She was a retired employee of Berkjley Mills. She was a member of Balfour Baptist Church, where she taught the preschool class.
Surviving are three daughters, Sadie Staton of Dana, Kathryn Maybin of East Flat Rocka and Barbara Pace of Hendersonville; two sons, Troy Worsham of Dana and Howard Worsham Jr of Hendersonville; a sister, Cloe Wines of Hendersonville; a brother, JC Morgan of Rowling Heights, Calif; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
