LA RUSH, Eileen Ella (nee Halverson)
Mrs. Eileen Ella La Rush, 44, of Wolfe Island, died unexpectedly at home recently.
She worked as an occupational therapist at Friendship Homes and belonged to Sacred Heart of Mary Church on Wolfe Island, where she did volunteer service in the island's parishes. Her special interests were crafts, gardening and boating.
Born in Thunder Bay to the late Ivonne (Eva) and Howard Halverson, she attended Hillcrest High School and later studied at Kingston Psychiatric Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Richard; two daughters, Shelley and Lynn; and a son, Rick.
She was buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery after a ceremony conducted by Father Appleman. Pallbearers were Kelly and Barry Fawcett, John Broeders, Winfield Woodman, Rick La Rush, and Bruce Halverson.
