Age 79, son of the late Carl A. and Cleo Evans Schoenfeldt.

He worked for the Felton grape farm. He formerly worked for Sunshine Packing Co., Ohio Fruit and in the maintenance department for Welch Foods Inc., retiring from there in 1985 after 34 years. He graduated from North East High School in 1941. He served on the board of directors with the Grahamville Cemetery Association for more than 50 years. He served as a trustee, usher and on the building committee for Findley Lake (N.Y.) United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf, gardening, crossword puzzles, repairing engines and collecting stamps and toothpick holders.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Anne Schoenfeldt; and two brothers, Ivan Schoenfeldt and Louis Schoenfeldt.

Survivors include his wife, Rena M. Dorrish Schoenfeldt, whom he married Dec. 15, 1945; two sons, Robert Schoenfeldt and his wife, Denise, of Meadville and Ronny Schoenfeldt and his wife, Cindi, of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Arlene Brown of North East; two brothers, George Schoenfeldt and Charles Schoenfeldt and his wife, Beatrice, all of North East; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Burial will be at Grahamville Cemetery.
