OBITUARY
Funeral services for Mrs. Addie LARSON, 76, long-time resident of Glazier and Higgins, were conducted from the First Methodist Church in Canadian.
Rev. Odem, pastor of the First Methodist Church at Higgins, was in charge of the rites. Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery under direction of Stickley Funeral Home.
Mrs. LARSON was a sister of L. S. HARDAGE of Canadian, and mother of Mrs. Tony WHEELER of Canadian.
She died on January 8, 1961 at Hemphill County Hospital, where she had been a patient for eleven weeks.
Mrs. LARSON was born on July 14, 1884, at Ackerman, Mississippi. Her husband, Ole LARSON, was one of the victims of the tornado at Higgins in 1947. The LARSONs had been long-time resident of Glazier before moving to Higgins in 1943.
Mrs. LARSON is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alda KAMMERER of Keys, Oklahoma; Mrs. Lena Mae WOODS of Pampa, and Mrs. Alton (Tony) WHEELER of Canadian; and five sons, Bill LARSON of Guymon, Bruce LARSON of Cortez, Colorado, Claud LARSON of Higgins; Frank LARSON of Shiprock, New Mexico, and Jack LARSON of the U. S. Navy.
Other survivors include four brothers, L. S. HARDAGE of Canadian, Pat HARDAGE of Wichita Falls, Roy HARDAGE of Bellflower, California, and Guy HARDAGE of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; and three sisters Mrs. Anna Rose Majure of Gadsen, Alabama, Mrs. Frank BREITKREUTZ and Mrs. Stella BEACH of Higgins.
