Alice Tabitha Deckard was the daughter of Adam and Mary Deckard. She was born May 15, 1865, in Sullivan, Indiana. She was married to henry M. Neiman Feb. 23, 1887. To this union was born seven children, as follows: Will Neiman of Worthing, S.D.; Thurman Neiman of Windsor; Mrs. W. O. Henry of Calhoun; Mrs. Noah Keel of Rockville; Mrs. Muriel Peeler of Appleton City; and Louis Neiman of Archer, Iowa. Mrs May Soles, who preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1912. She also leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband. She leaves nine grandchildren, three sisters and four brother: Mike, Charley, William and Wash Deckard, and Mrs. Gilbert Lewellyn, Mrs. Dan Walters and Mrs. Elizabeth Jones, all of Sullivan, Indiana. She united with the Barker Chapel M. E. Church Feb. 19, 1907. She departed this life Nov. 12, 1931. A host of friends will miss her and sympathize with the loved ones in their bereavement. We commend them to Him who doeth all things well and who was her comfort and stay.
All thee children were present except the oldest son, William. Funeral services occurred Saturday.
