Lulo M. Felbell was the daughter of Mary Hake and William J. Felbel. Her maternal grandparents were David Hake and Dorothy Hood Hake.

She married Francis Richard Dickenson, in about 1914. Francis was born on 20 May 1882, in Chesterton, Porter County, Indiana. He died on 19 October 1954, in Valparaiso, Indiana, at the Port County Memorial Hospital. He was buried in the Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton Indiana. Francis worked for Standard Oil for 50 years. Francis was the son of Thomas P. Dickinson and Zuriah Richardson.

In 1900 and 1910 Lulo is living with her parents in Oakland, Wisconsin.

The children of Francis Dickenson and Lulo Felbel were:
1. Clifford Dickinson (1915-1988)
2. Lucille Dickinson (1917-1997)
