Marie was born in Ankum, Germany, to Heinrich Joseph Feldmann and Catherina Wilhelmina Hämer. In 1891 she immigrated to the US and settled in Louisville, KY. On 07 Mar 1905 she wed Theodore William Von Bokern and they had nine children: Bernadine, Mary Elizabeth, Lawrence, Evelyn, Francis, Theodore, Louis, Joseph and Robert. She was co-owner and operator of Von Bokern's Bakery on Frankfort Avenue from 1930 to 1950. Marie died at Medicenter at the age of 94.
