MATHEWS- Miss Mary Esther Lockwood, 13, of Onemo, died on Tuesday, May 3, 1966 in a Newport News hospital after a lingering illness.

She is survived by her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Edwin A. Lockwood of Onemo; and five brothers, William A. Lockwood of Frenchburg, Ky., David L. Lockwood of Mount Sterling, Ky., John E. Lockwood of Springfield, Ohio and Robert P. Lockwood and James K. Lockwood of Onemo.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Peniel Friends Church, Laban, conducted by the Rev. Chester Plummer of Indianapolis, Ind. Burial will be in the Gwynn's Island Cemetery at Grimstead.

Pallbearers will be Charles Hudgins, Steve Hudgins, Paul Townsend, Jr., Keith Sadler, Chase Morgan, Jr., and Gerald Morgan.
