David Cumbie, 72 of Dayton died Saturday at home.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Dayton Baptist Church.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel at Greenwood. Burial was at U. S. National Cemetery at Fort Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Elouise; two step-sons, the Rev. Charles Whedbee of Fort Smith and James Whedbee of Denver; a sister, Mae James of Greenwood; two brothers, Charles of Huntington and Jeff of Greenwood; six step-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Adams, Perry Basham, Grover Terrell, Aaron Elmore, Lewis Ferguson and Lester Stinbaugh.
