Actress. Ms. Peabody started her acting career at 17 playing the leading role in the "Diary of Anne Frank" with the Cleveland Repertory Theater. She subsequently moved on to New York where she performed in numerous Broadway and off Broadway productions. Later she went on to perform daytime television roles starting in early 60s, a career that continued into 1985. However, she is best known for her portrayal of the the infamous character "Dorian Lord" on popular daytime drama "One Life to Live" In addition, her acting credits includes roles in The Guiding Light, As the World Turns, The Doctors, Somerset, The Edge of Night. After she left acting, Ms. Peabody went on to focus her creativity in the field of photography, notably using her talents to depict and promote AIDS volunteerism. By that time she had also settled into a lucrative career in real estate. She died of heart failure at the Westhampton Care Center at the age of 69.
