Miss Anna Singiser, daughter of Mr. and Mrs., William Singiser, of Mechanicsburg, die at Shope's Hospital in Harrisburg shortly after 1 o'clock this morning. The deceased was taken ill on Monday last and on Thursday afternoon was taken to the hospital. An operation for appendicitis was performed at 9 o'clock on Thursday evening with the above-mentioned result. Miss Singiser was a very bright and interesting young lady, 18 years of age, and a student at Irving College. She was an active member of the Methodist Church and was very well known in Carlisle. Those who survive besides the parents are one sister Miss May at home.
