A son of Russell O. and Anna Deck, named Russell O Deck also; born 16 June 1920, Roodhouse, IL.; died 15 December 1995 in Palo Alto, Calif. and his ashes were scattered at sea; his name was added on family monument in Alta Messa Cemetery with those of his late wife Mary Elizabeth Masterson whom he married on 30 June 1941 in Birkenhead, Cheshire, England, and daughter, Marie Roller. His wife preceded in death 10 October 1992. Served in WWII Royal Canadian Air Force vet. Survived by three daughters: Elizabeth (husband, Steve) Johnson of Sunnyvale, Calif., Pat Deck of Palo Alto, Calif., and Darlene (husband, Ken) Romine of Manteca, Calif.; six grand, five step-grandchildren and five g-grandchildren; and two sisters: Ann Harvilla of Hazelwood, Mo. and Elinora Evans of Roodhouse. Preceded by his parents; and two daughters: Mary Catherine and an infant, Mary Margaret.
