Paul T. Jackson, 69 died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010 at Somerset Valley Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey the son of the late Thomas and Julia Jackson. He was a resident of Raritan, NJ for the past 40 years. Mr. Jackson held a Masters Degree in Education and was a Teacher for the Middlesex Board Of Education, Rutgers University and most recently Mount St. Mary's Academy in Watchung, NJ. He was a Councilman for the Borough Of Raritan during the 1970's. He was a member of the Martinsville Knights Of Columbus #5959 - Our Lady of the Hills. Mr. Jackson was an avid stamp collector, a member of the American Philatelic Association and a member of the New Jersey Postal History Society.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Jackson of Raritan, NJ; his son, Eric Jackson and his wife Emmie of Dracut, Massachusetts; his daughter, Karen Tvedt and her husband James of Sparks, Nevada and a sister, Emily Jackson of Storm Lake, Iowa.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd., Manville, NJ. (908)575-8512. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010, 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paul T.
