Died from an accidental shooting. Died instantly from 22 caliber pistol accidentally being discharge by a 10 year old cousin. The bullet struck William one inch above the heart. County officers who investigated the death said several children were playing with the pistol which had been brought to the celebration by an older youth. The boys believed the gun was unloaded.
