Vern 1877; Deacon (1849) and Priest (1850), Cork Diocese, Church of Ireland; Curate, St Nicholas, Cork, 1849; Clerical Secretary, Islington Protestant Institute, 1852; appointed Sunday afternoon lecturer, St Luke's, Old Street, London, 1856; "elected" Incumbent, St James's, Clerkenwell, and inducted 3 May 1857; appointed Rector of St Olave's, Southwark, 21 June 1875; res 39 Myddleton Square, Clerkenwell, 1861 and 1871 Census returns; res St Thomas's Street East, London S.E., 1882; died at 6 Lesmure Rd, Eastbourne, and "buried in the family vault at Highgate Cemetery."
Robert was married firstly, in Cork, 1851, to Euphraimina ADAMS; she died at Richmond, Surrey, 13 June 1864, her body removed to Myddleton Square, then buried at Highgate Cemetery.

3. Mary Esther MAGUIRE, born Islington, 28 April 1857; died 1859.
4. Dorothy Letitia MAGUIRE, born Myddleton Square, 2 May 1858; died Gloucestershire, 1937.
