Allen Littleton Randolph Rogers was the son of James Franklin Rogers and Ellen Elizabeth "Betty" Ragsdale Rogers. He first married Gertie Damron about 1909. Lit and Gertie had two children: Lloyd Donald Rogers, also buried at Seven Mile Cemetery, and Lola Rogers. Gertie and little Lola died soon after childbirth. Lit then married Willie Euretha Denton, on April 24, 1914 in Massac Co., IL. He was a resident of Pope Co., IL for many years but in later years moved to Metropolis, IL. In the last year of his life, he and Willie moved to Chrisman, IL to be closer to their son Elwood. However, the gas heater was faulty and they both died of accidental carbon monoxide poisoning the first time they turned the heater on for the season.
