Mildred L. Delabar-Kelly, 95, formerly of Oquawka, died 7:30 A.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Klein Medical Center, Burlington, IA.

She was born May 20, 1915, the daughter of Eddy Boyd and Flora (Clark) Delabar. She was raised and educated in Oquawka and graduated from Oquawka High School and attended Monmouth College.

She was an LPN having worked at Monmouth Hospital and at Galesburg and Burlington hospitals. She operated Oquawka Shelter Care.

Her family included three sons, Clifford (Mary) Dunn, Stephen (Jean) Dunn and Kenneth "Rex" (Donna) Dunn all of Oquawka, 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Victor Vice and five brothers.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are planned at this time. Interment of ashes will be in Oquawka Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be left to be designated later. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Monmouth is in charge of arrangements.
