COOKEVILLE Funeral services for A.B. Carr, 75, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Dec. 5, at McClellan Church of Christ. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8
p.m. today, Mon., Dec. 4, at Dyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Carr died on Fri., Dec. 1, 2000, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 31, 1925, in Putnam County to the late Haskel B. and Dela Mai King Carr. Mr. Carr was a retired engineer assistant. He was a member of McClellan Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife, Barbara Baker Carr of Cookeville; three sons, Robert Lee, William Howard and Allon Baker Carr, all of Cookeville; two daughters, Linda Darlene Carr of Lake Worth, Fla., and Emmaly Jean Carr of Nashville; three brothers, Haywood and Virgil Carr Sr., both of Nashville, and Charles Carr of Cookeville; five sisters, Mattie Ward and Elsie Watkins, both of Nashville, Mary Atkinson of Portsmouth, Va., Lillian West of Hanover, Penn., and Dorothy McClennon of Cookeville; six
grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.
