Martin Luke was the area "BULLY" for his entire life. This caught up with him on the day of his death. He was riding home in a cart driven by his wife Catherine. He was drunk and as they passed Martin took a shot at Frank Carr who was sitting on the stoop of his home. Frank went inside,took down the gun, went outside, & shot as the wagon went down Black River Rd. Catherine thought Martin had passed out;left him in the wagon to sleep it off;didn't realize he was dead.
