MRS. GUY R. WILLIBY
Dorothy Dale Plows, daughter of Walter H. and Hannah Plows, was born December 2, 1896, in Lucas, Iowa, and departed this life at her home in Chariton, Iowa, on Dec. 9, 1949, at the age of 53 years and seven days.
She was married to Guy R. Williby on July 10, 1916, at Duluth, Minnesota, and to this union two children were born, Anita Louise and Bernice Lorraine.
She was a member of the Methodist church of Chariton.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one sister and two brothers.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Robert Leigh, of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mrs. L. A. Petersen, of Dayton, Ohio, and five grandchildren, Dyann, Cynthia and Robert Leigh, of St. Louis, and Meredith and Barbara Petersen, of Dayton.
Three sisters, Mrs. James Wright and Mrs. Sue Smith, of Des Moines, and Mrs. James E. Hamner, of Memphis, Tenn., and one brother, E. L. (Jack) Plows, of Ottumwa, Iowa, also survive her.
She was an active member of the Pythian Sisters, Past Chief club, Sew and So club, Auxiliary of the Fire Department and the Methodist church.
