Mr. William Augusta "W.A." Bullard, Jr., 66, died Friday at St. Joseph Hospital, Atlanta.
A Ware County native, he was an Army veteran of World War II. He was the husband of the late Leona Lee Bullard and son of William Augusta and Hester Ann Morgan Bullard.
He is survived by four sons, William L. Bullard, David L. Bullard, James R. Bullard and Wayne E. Bullard Sr., all of Waycross; five daughters, Margaret Bowen of Douglas and Fronie L. Bullard, Andrea Sweat, Debra Sweat and Mavis Mariscal, all of Waycross; a brother Coy Bullard of Waycross; three sisters, Faye Sills and Iris Massey, both of Waycross, and Merle Killebrew of Americus; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Hargraves Chapel, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Mincy-Fulford Funeral Home.
