SPRINGFIELD - Florence M. (Smith) Faust, 87, formerly of 19 Calvin St., passed away Monday at Palmer Healthcare Center. Born in Westfield, she was a 1940 graduate of Sacred Heart School in Springfield, and had been a resident of Springfield for over 50 years. Florence retired as principle clerk from the Hampden County Registry of Deeds office, and had previously worked at Johnson's Bookstore. She leaves a son, Daniel J. Faust of Lutz, FL, two daughters, Patricia Burbee of Palmer, Ma, and Margaret Mastalerz of West Springfield, MA, a brother Norman Smith of Springfield, MA, and seven grandchildren, David Faust of Palm Coast, FL, and Charles Burbee, Alexander Burbee, Patrick Burbee, Emily Burbee, Martin Burbee, & Cullen Burbee, all of Palmer, MA. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbert R. Faust in 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11th, 2010 at 12:00 noon at the Forastiere Funeral Home, 45 Locust St., Springfield, MA. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery . Visiting hours at the funeral home are Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon prior to the service.
