Mrs. Emily Rose Allee, 82, Kimberling City, and former Olean resident, died Monday (Sept. 18, 1978) at the Skagg's Hospital in Branson. She was born Sept. 15, 1896, at Ashland, the daughter of Samuel H and Rosa Howard Strother. On Feb. 17, 1917, she was married at Jefferson City to Henry Priest Allee, who died Feb. 2, 1973.
Mrs. Allee was a member of the Olean Baptist Church. She served as assistant postmaster at Olean form 1940 until her retirement in 1958.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maude Rose Reese, Kimberling City, one brother, Howard Strother, Jefferson City, one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Services were Wednesday at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, Eldon with the Rev. Charles Cox officiating. Burial was in the Olean Cemetery.
