Mrs. Annette Marie Towns, age 46, of Douglasville, GA passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007. She was born December 1, 1960 in Mount Clemons, MI. She was preceded in death by her son Rick Billstrom. Mrs. Towns was a member of Pavilion Church of Douglasville, GA and a supporting member of Lifelink of Georgia.
She is survived by her husband, Russ Towns of Douglasville; daughter, Sarah Billstrom of Douglasville; mother and step-father, Linda and Elmo Spears of Crossville, TN; father and step-mother, Earl and Marie Vermeulen of Dallas, GA; brothers, Bill Vermeulen of Jacksonville, FL, Butch Vermeulen of Dallas, GA and George Vermeulen of Dallas, GA; sister, Tracey Plunkett of Douglasville, GA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, November 9, 2007 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. A crypt side service will be Sunday, November 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta, GA. Tim Potate will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Annette's memory to the Susan G. Komen Scholarship Foundation at 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250 Dallas, TX 75244.
